Start with the size chart, not the label
Indian kurta sizes are numbers (36, 38, 40 and so on) rather than S, M and L. Always compare the garment measurements on the product page with a kurta you already own. Measure the fullest part of your bust, your waist and your hips, then choose the size whose garment measurements give you a little ease. Hand-embroidered fabric has limited stretch, so a relaxed fit drapes better. Many of our product pages suggest sizing up one size for extra ease.
